The Artwork of Vince Joiner
Vince is a deeply meditative man whose drawings flip the viewer between macro and micro perspectives. His work is currently focused on solar systems and views of cell structures. Vince approaches each image with deliberate intention. He often works on four of five drawings at once, adding elements to each piece in a production style approach that is anything but mechanical.
Each of Vince’s pieces feature beautiful color palettes, are matted and framed, and would compliment any room of a home or office. CARC’s “New School” Arts Studio is an entirely grant-funded resource for 35 men and women with moderate to severe developmental disabilities. The arts program is led by Chicago artist, Monika Neuland-Kimrey. Through study and practice, CARC artists have become adept with a variety of media including oil, acrylic and watercolor paints, printmaking and silk-screening. Several CARC artists have been featured at numerous exhibits at galleries throughout the city.
